DESCRIPTION
Competition project for a bank office, located in a former residential building. The goal was to create a warm and welcoming space that would, in contrast to a typical bank office, bring the bank/client relation to a more relaxed level, thus inspiring the client with comfort and trust, avoiding the misconception of a bank as an institution rather than a friendly service.
Design idea was to visually soften the interior with white materials, natural finished wood, combined with hexagonal shapes and pre-defined color scheme. The choice for predominantly Scandinavian furniture combined with futuristic lounge chairs is to define the zones of comfort and coziness on one side and transparency of business affair on the other. Defined semi-private office spaces allows for discrete appointments, whereas oceanic design of the main space offers mixing of waiting space with personal approach to banking.
